Valid Tracking Rate Amazon Suspension – What does it mean?

A Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) suspension occurs when Amazon determines that a seller’s tracking information is not consistently accurate or up to their standards. Amazon requires that all shipments have valid tracking numbers to ensure that orders are delivered on time and to improve the overall customer experience. If a seller fails to provide valid tracking information for a significant number of orders, it can lead to a suspension of their account.
Amazon sets specific performance targets for Valid Tracking Rate (VTR). For most sellers, the target is 95% or higher. This means that at least 95% of your shipments must have valid tracking numbers uploaded to Amazon’s system. Failure to meet this target can lead to account deactivation, as it indicates potential issues with fulfillment or the seller’s reliability in providing timely and traceable shipments.
